Zandria is a veteran who opened The Argo House to do one thing: make decent, affordable housing available to people who have a hard time finding it. Veterans. Seniors. People on a fixed income. People starting over. The idea is simple. A clean, remodeled home in a good neighborhood, one all-inclusive rate, and neighbors who look out for each other. If you’re placing a client, here’s what you need to know up front. Call or email with a brief overview of the placement. 2. 2. We run screening and a background check. 3. 3. Your client tours the house: video, photos, or in person. 4. 4. Reference call, then approval. 5. 5. Paperwork and move-in. ### If you are a placement agency Placements that come through an agency carry a minimum five month agreement for the resident. That gives the person time to settle in properly, and it gives the house the stability it needs to keep the rate where it is. If your agency charges a placement fee of one month's rent, we pay that fee in two installments rather than in a single payment.
