For referral partners

# For the professionals who help people find housing.

Fast facts, a clear referral path, and a house manager who answers the phone.

Case managers, hospital discharge planners, VA social workers, community organizations, and placement agencies often need a housing answer quickly. This page gives you the facts first, then the steps to start a referral, then the pages written for your role.

The Argo House is permitted supportive shared housing in Northeast Dallas, near Lakewood and White Rock Lake. It is housing, not treatment, and it does not provide personal care, supervision, meals, or medical support.

- Call Joyce, our house manager, at (469) 503-6007

## How to Start a Referral

Call (469) 503-6007 or email property.care.solutions.tx@gmail.com. Say that you are calling as a referral partner, and share the basics: your name, your organization, the best way to reach you, and a general sense of timing.

From there, the process is the same one every prospective resident follows: a short intake conversation and background check, a video or photo walkthrough, an in-person tour on request, a reference call, and then the $250 community fee, payment setup, and paperwork before move-in. Eligibility is confirmed during a short intake call. The referrals (https://argohousedallas.com/referrals) page covers the process in full.

## Include the Person in Every Step

The person who would live in the home is an adult making a decision about their own home. Please include them in every step. The intake conversation is with them, the walkthrough is for them, and the choice to move in is theirs.

That also makes placements steadier. Someone who has seen the house, asked their own questions, and chosen it is far more likely to feel at home there. Our guide of questions to ask before moving in (https://argohousedallas.com/resources/questions-to-ask-before-moving-in) is a good tool to share with them.

## What Partners Can Count On

A person who answers the phone. Clear, published facts about the rate, the fee, and what is included. A process that does not change depending on who is calling. And honest answers about availability, including when a bed is not open.

If The Argo House is not the right fit for someone, the intake call is where that becomes clear, so no one moves forward on a misunderstanding.

## Keep Sensitive Details Off the Web Form

The contact form on this site is for a first hello. Please do not send medical information, case details, benefit information, identification numbers, or other sensitive personal details through it.

Share your contact information and the general request, and save the details for the phone conversation, where they can be handled appropriately.

## Terms for Placement Agencies

Placements that come through an agency carry a minimum five-month agreement for the resident. If an agency charges a placement fee of one month's rent, The Argo House pays that fee in two installments. The placement agencies (https://argohousedallas.com/placement-agencies) page explains the terms.
